St Peter’s opens!

From Helen McDermott, Churchwarden

I'm delighted to be able to announce that St Peter's will be open for public worship from Sunday 12th July 2020.

The PCC has met and having taken into account a risk assessment and advice from the Church of England has decided on arrangements which will allow us to open but keep everyone safe.

Initially we will have a said service at 10:00 am on a Sunday, with music provided by Audrey but no singing, and a said service at 09:30 on Wednesdays. The 10:00 am service will also be offered by Zoom and we hope it may also be live streamed. If you would like to join the service via Zoom, please email zoom@stpetersmonkseaton.org.uk to receive the joining instructions. To join via Facebook, please click here

You will find that things will be different:

The PCC decided that we needed to set up a booking system so if you would like to attend the Sunday service please ring me on a Saturday from 10:00am onwards on 07748881533. I will need the names of those attending in each party and a contact number. It was felt that a booking system was necessary to avoid people travelling to church only to find we had more attendees than we can accommodate with the new arrangements. If you are joining us in Church, please watch both of the videos below, so that you know what to expect.

Times and arrangements are very different but it will be an enormous pleasure to see familiar faces again. Those who choose not to join us in person will be able to see those faces via the wonders of technology!

Please stay safe and well

Looking forward to seeing you again!
